Refund Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made on statementconverter.app ("WealthMind Statements Converter," the "Service"), operated by ALEXANDER GOLOVKOV, an Individual Entrepreneur registered in Georgia, Registration/ID No. 305866649 ("Company," "we," "us"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. How Your Payment Is Processed
All payments for the Service are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd / Paddle.com Inc.), which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means:
- Paddle — not the Company — appears as the seller on your bank/card statement and issues your invoice/receipt.
- Paddle collects and remits applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes on the transaction.
- Refunds, once approved, are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method.
- If you don't recognize a charge on your statement or have a payment-specific question, you can also contact Paddle's buyer support directly at paddle.net.
- Paddle's own Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase and, where legally mandatory (see Section 5 below), may independently entitle you to a refund even if this Policy would not otherwise provide one.
2. Why We Handle Refunds by Session ID, Not Account Lookup
We do not store your uploaded bank statement files or the data extracted from them (see our Privacy Policy). Because of this, we cannot look up "your file" after the fact to verify a problem — instead, every conversion and every purchase is tied to a unique, non-identifying Session ID generated at the time of your transaction. Your Session ID (shown on the conversion page and/or in your payment receipt) is the key piece of information we use to:
- locate your transaction and confirm what was charged;
- investigate what happened during that specific conversion attempt; and
- decide whether a refund is warranted.
Please keep your Session ID. Without it, we may be unable to locate or process your request quickly.
3. Our Refund Approach
Refunds are not automatic and there is no fixed refund window. Each request is reviewed individually, at the Company's reasonable discretion, based on the circumstances reported and the associated Session ID. This allows us to be flexible and fair — including granting refunds outside a rigid time limit when something has genuinely gone wrong — while also protecting the Service against abuse.
Situations that are typically considered favorably include (non-exhaustive):
- a conversion failed, produced clearly corrupted/unusable output, or was never delivered due to a technical fault on our side;
- you were charged more than once for the same conversion or subscription period (duplicate charge);
- a charge was made without your authorization (subject to our fraud-review process); or
- a subscription renewed after you had already cancelled it in a timely manner.
Situations that are typically not covered, though still reviewed case by case:
- dissatisfaction with conversion accuracy caused by a poor-quality, non-standard, password-protected, or damaged source file;
- conversion failures or incomplete output caused by exceeding the supported limits stated in the Terms of Use (more than 3 files per run or more than 150 rows in a statement file);
- change of mind after a conversion has already been successfully delivered to you;
- failure to cancel a recurring subscription before it renewed, where reasonable renewal notice was given; and
- free-tier or trial usage, which is provided at no charge and is therefore not eligible for a monetary refund.
4. Subscription Cancellations vs. Refunds
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but is a separate action from requesting a refund for a period already paid. If you cancel:
- you generally retain access through the end of the period you already paid for; and
- amounts already charged for the current or past billing periods are refunded only if a refund is separately approved under Section 3.
5. Your Statutory Rights Are Not Limited by This Policy
If you are a consumer based in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants a mandatory right of withdrawal or other refund rights for digital services that cannot be waived by contract, this Policy does not reduce those statutory rights. In particular, under EU/UK consumer law, the 14-day withdrawal right for digital content/services generally does not apply once the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose the withdrawal right upon full performance (a consent typically captured during the Paddle checkout flow for instant conversion services). Where that consent was not validly obtained, your statutory withdrawal right may still apply, and Paddle, as Merchant of Record, may process such a refund independently of the discretionary review described in Section 3.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email support@statementconverter.app with:
- Your Session ID (from the conversion screen or your Paddle receipt/invoice);
- The email address or payment method used for the purchase;
- A short description of the issue; and
- Any relevant screenshots or files (excluding the original bank statement, which we do not need or want you to resend unless specifically requested for a technical investigation).
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within a few business days. For payment-specific issues (for example, an unrecognized charge or a duplicate payment), you can also contact Paddle directly at paddle.net.
7. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, it is issued by Paddle to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, funds typically appear within 5–10 business days, though this timeline is set by Paddle and your payment provider, not by us.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support@statementconverter.app before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated through Paddle.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
